I created D.S. Solutions because after years of tutoring math students from all walks of life I realized they all had one thing in common—there is a gap between what students are able to learn in the classroom and what students are expected to demonstrate on a quiz/test/exam. I found that my largely relationship-based, student-driven, student-centered approach to working with students helped them reach gains in academic progress. Since then, I have strived to recreate that same atmosphere and approach at D.S. Solutions!

Our overall mission at D.S. Solutions is simple – we want to help your child meet success in the math classroom. Whether that success is defined as receiving an A in Honors Trigonometry or simply passing a standardized math exam; or, whether that classroom is a middle school math class or college Calculus II lab. We want to help your child meet success in the math classroom. But, that does not separate us from any other cookie-cutter tutoring company or private supplemental education service. What separates D.S. Solutions from the rest is our genuine passion and promise to make your child: comfortable working with math, confident in their abilities in and outside the classroom, and renew their sense of purpose and meaning to what they are accomplishing each and everyday in the classroom.

We truly believe at D.S. Solutions that your child is unique, and not just because you think so We have enough experience to know that every student we encounter is unlike the previous. As a result, our company functions primarily on forming positive, genuine tutor-tutee relationships. We believe that forming a truly genuine relationship with your child allows the tutor to see the uniqueness, strengths, and weaknesses of your son/daughter. This allows our tutors to differentiate your child’s learning experience with us and cater to their learning needs in order to reach their maximum potential. In turn, this makes your child see tutoring as not a chore but a break, not an obligation but an opportunity, not another typical math class but a chance to learn math while maybe even having a laugh along the way
