I created D.S. Solutions because after years of tutoring students in the Towson University Math Lab I realized they all had one thing in common—there is a gap between what students are able to learn in the classroom and what students are expected to demonstrate on a quiz/test/exam. I found that my largely relationship-based, student-driven, student-centered approach to working with and getting down on students’ level helped them reach major gains in academic progress. Since then, I have strived to recreate that same atmosphere and approach at D.S. Solutions!

Our overall mission for college students at D.S. Solutions is simple—we want you to understand, pass, and move on from your math class. Though we do occasionally have college student clientele who want our services in order to strive for a grade of excellence, the majority of students we work with just need to pass and move on from a particular math class. We understand the situation your in—we are college students ourselves. We only have so much time and money and the consequence of failing and having to retake a college math class diminishes both of those precious commodities. Besides being college students or recent graduates ourselves, D.S. Solutions tutors have a genuine passion and goal to make you: comfortable working with math, confident in your abilities in and outside the classroom, and provide a completely affordable, quality service that works around your busy schedule!

We have enough experience to know that every student we encounter is unlike the previous. As a result, our company functions primarily on forming positive, genuine tutor-tutee relationships. We believe that forming a truly genuine relationship with you permits our staff to see the strengths and weaknesses. This allows our tutors to differentiate your learning experience with us and cater to your individual learning needs.
